Grooming Tip of the Season....
Can you imagine not brushing your hair between visits to the hairdresser or barber? Your dog feels the same way, but can’t tell you so directly. The best way to maintain your dog’s coat between visits to the groomer is to brush or comb their coat regularly. For each dog ‘regularly’ depends on the breed, condition of the coat and whether your dog spends time outside. If you are unsure, just ask us during your next visit and we’ll be happy to make a recommendation. There are many benefits to regular brushing and combing. Your dog will be more comfortable between grooming visits, the bond with your pet can grow stronger, your home will be cleaner, and regular massage and review of the skin and coat are one practice in maintaining good health. If you don’t have a brush or comb, let us know. We carry a variety of them in our shop and would be happy to demonstrate. Check back again for more Grooming Tips of the Season. |
